Ready, set.. GROW

In 2021, we took the biggest leap of faith and moved ahead with expanding our campus to eventually double our capacity and serve more women and children. Thanks to some extremely generous donors, we are already half-way to our goal in just a year. We have added TWO new cottages that are providing transitional housing to our families who are building their daily living skills and preparing to eventually move out into their own homes as independent women and loving and nurturing moms. It’s an instrumental step in building their confidence and competence to ensure their success as they graduate out into our community. This completes Phase I of Victory Village.

We have been blessed to be fully funded to now complete Phase II, our new Children’s Nurture Center, and Phase III, the Welcome Station to provide classroom, counseling, and community engagement space. With current economic challenges, labor shortages and supply chain issues, things are moving a bit slower than we anticipated, but we are remaining patient and actively working on completing these critical two phases.

Phase IV of our expansion is our biggest … our new Hope House to replace our existing 1970’s model community home. We are actively campaigning to continue to raise the funds necessary to purchase and install this focal point of our community.

Simultaneously, we are planning for Phase V, Outdoor Living Spaces to provide spaces for outdoor gatherings, cooking, and playground improvements.

Our final Phase VI will provide another four cottages for transitional living, Victory Village II, and will complete our goal to double the capacity of our campus and serve 20 families at a time.

This is an exciting time for Acres of Hope. We receive incredible support and encouragement from this community who understand the generational impact we are making in breaking the cycle of homelessness for these women and their children.

I’m excited for you to join us on this journey and be a part of multiplying the life-changing opportunities for sustainable change for generations to come.
